The Delta State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to strategic partnerships with reputable organisations capable of delivering impactful services that enhance the welfare and living standards of residents across the state.
This assurance was given by the Commissioner for Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, during a courtesy visit by the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The All Rights Foundation (TAF), Mr. Jake Epelle, who led a delegation of professionals drawn from within and outside Nigeria, at the Commissioner’s office in Asaba.
Mr. Aniagwu, while receiving the delegation, applauded their interest in supporting the state’s development agenda and emphasized the government’s willingness to engage in collaborations that align with its development priorities.
He noted that the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori remains open to partnerships that complement its MORE Agenda, particularly initiatives targeted at improving the wellbeing of Deltans.
The Commissioner explained that proposals submitted by prospective partners would be carefully reviewed, stressing that interventions in critical sectors such as energy and healthcare were essential to driving inclusive development and long-term sustainability in the state.
He said, “Our administration recognizes that meaningful progress is best achieved through collaboration.
“We are open to engaging credible partners whose initiatives are transparent, result-driven, and capable of delivering measurable benefits to our people.”
Earlier, Mr. Epelle disclosed that the purpose of the visit was to explore areas of collaboration with the Delta State Government, especially in the energy and health sectors.
He observed that investments in these areas would significantly improve service delivery and quality of life, particularly for rural and underserved communities.
He also praised Mr. Aniagwu’s leadership, noting that his ability to effectively oversee the Ministries of Information and Rural Roads reflected strong administrative capacity and dedication to public service.
Mr. Epelle described Delta State as a forward-thinking state with vast development potential and expressed TAF’s readiness to partner with the government on people-focused projects that leverage private-sector innovation to strengthen existing public initiatives.
In his remarks, the Managing Director, Africa, of Koyo HealthTech Ltd, Dr. Olatunde Olotu, introduced Koyo Navigate, a digital health application designed to provide users with reliable medical information, professional health guidance, and direct access to qualified medical practitioners via mobile devices.
Other dignitaries present at the meeting included the Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Mrs. Stella Macaulay; the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Koyo HealthTech Ltd, Dr. Tom Cracknell; the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Mark Fresch; and other members of the delegation.
