Delta Council Chair, Ogorugba Harps On Efficiency In Service Delivery

The Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. Prince Godwin Ogorugba has called on staff of the local government to ensure efficient and timely delivery of service to the people in the council area.

Prince Ogorugba gave the charge on Tuesday, while addressing the leadership of NULGE in his office in Ozoro, headquarters of the Council area.

The Chairman said that, his administration was poised to providing efficient service delivery to the people of Isoko North, Isoko South saying “if you must remain in the local government, you must be efficient, timely and productive.”

The Chairman promised to do everything possible to give the staff a conducive working environment, while emphasising the place efficient, timely and productivity in service delivery.

His words “I must assure you that, I will do anything that is possible depending on the revenue available to give the staff a conducive working environment. But my plea to you is that you must improve in your service delivery.

“My administration is poised to service delivery and I want to enjoin you to go and tell the staff that, if you must remain in this local government, you must put your acts together to work. We must be efficient, timely and productive.”

Earlier, the leadership of NULGE led by its Vice Chairman, Mr Gideon Esime, having congratulated the chairman, sought the support of the administration in areas of staff welfare and carrying out necessary repairs to enable the staff do their work effectively.

High point of the meeting was the presentation of the chairman’s portrait which was done by the HPM, Austin Onokpoasa.

The meeting also had in attendance the Vice Chairman of the council, Hon Mrs Evelyn Aluta; Mr Augustine Akpobasa, HPM; HRM Queen Elo Ofejiro Ogbogbo, Treasurer amongst others.
