Delta Attorney-General Pays Glowing Tribute To Retired Solicitor-General

Delta State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Peter Mrakpor has paid glowing tributes to the State Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Daniel Momah describing him as a firm and resolute administrator who defended the Ministry with clarity of speech and confidence.

The Attorney-General was speaking on Wednesday during a sentforth party organized in honour of the out-gone Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary at the Headquarter of the Ministry where the A-G  acknowledged the dexterity and sagacity of the Solicitor-General as he retires from the State Civil Service after 27 years of meritorious service to the State.

While describing the former Solicitor-General of the State as a brother and a friend, the Justice Commissioner thanked him for his support and cooperation and wished him well in his future endeavors.

Others who spoke including the Chairman of the organizing Committee, Mr. Omamuzo Erebe, the Chairman of the Law Officers Association of Nigerian, Delta State Chapter, Mr. Thomas Anigara, Director of Civil Litigations, Mr. Sunny Monye, Director of Administration, Mr. Sunny Gbetsere and Chief Augustine Oghenejabor who retired from the Ministry as a Director, extolled the legal prowess and the comraderia spirit of the retired Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary whom they described as a jolly and easy going fellow.

In his valedictory speech, Mr. Momah who expressed appreciation to God for elevating him to the post of a Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary in spite of his travail in 1997 that almost truncated his career, thanked the State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for finding him worthy for the appointment. 

While thanking Directors and staff of the Ministry for their prayers, support and cooperation, Mr. Momah paid glowing accolades on the Attorney-General for his role in his appointment even as he saluted Mr. Mrakpor for his thoroughness, humility, team spirit and robust relationship he enjoyed with the Attorney-General and sued for the continued support and cooperation of staff to the Justice Commissioner.
