Journalists covering the Delta State House of Assembly have extended warm congratulations to the Speaker, Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, on his emergence as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria.
In a statement issued in Asaba, the Assembly Correspondents described his election as a clear testament to his exemplary leadership capacity and unwavering commitment to legislative excellence.
The statement, made available by the leader of the group and Pointer Correspondent at the State Assembly, Andrew Ikehi, noted that the Speaker’s emergence did not come as a surprise to members of the press corps.
According to the journalists, Rt. Hon. Guwor has consistently demonstrated uncommon leadership qualities, professionalism, and a humane disposition in the discharge of his legislative responsibilities and interpersonal engagements.
They expressed confidence in his ability to effectively pilot the affairs of the Conference over the next two years and prayed for divine wisdom and strength to enable him succeed in the new role.
