Delta APC Mourns Death Of Chieftain, Ojougboh

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State chapter, has expressed shock and sadness over the death of a chieftain of the party in the State, Chief Dr. Cairo Ojougboh.

The party, in a statement on by the State Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo Esq on Thursday 8th February 2024, said Ojougboh was a committed party leader, adding that his death was a huge setback to the party in the state.

“We are terribly shocked by the news of the death of our brother, former Member of the House of Representatives and former Executive Director (Project) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Hon. (Dr.) Cairo Ojougboh – The Akinuwa of Agbor Kingdom.

“A prominent national political figure, Dr. Ojougboh was always full of life. His sudden demise is a very painful and huge loss to our people. A painful reminder to us all of the ephemeral nature of human life which the Holy Bible says is, ‘vanity of vanities!’

“The Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC) family sincerely commiserates with the Ojougboh family for this really painful loss.

“Our prayers are with them, even as we mourn. May the Holy Spirit comfort and strengthen them in this extraordinary time”, the statement added.
