Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has disclosed that the party is not party of the melodrama that played out resulting in the suspension of a stalwart of the party, Chief Lucky Esighe and others in Olomoro Ward 06, Isoko south local government area of the State.

A press release on Wednesday September 15th by the party’s Publicly Secretary, Sylvester Imonina, Esq., titled: “Re: APC Olomoro Ward 06 Suspends Chief Lucky Esigie And Others- Delta APC Dissociates Self From The Melodrama Of Political Anarchists”, the party expressed dismayed over the way and manner some persons take laws into their hands without due recourse to the party’s constitution.

According to him, “The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta State, has been drawn to a purported statement, emanating from some self-styled “Executive of APC, Olomoro Ward 06”, and emissaries of rift. In the said statement, they arrogated to themselves the powers they do not have and claimed to have suspended Chief Lucky Jerry Esigie, the National Leader of APC Isoko Nation, Hon. Vincentino Oberebe, Barr. Denis Ewhubare, Mrs. Hopelyn Ayu, Monday Oghorie, Samuel Idebe, Elo Eyere Azagba and Bar. Fred Isigba!

“Delta APC states unequivocally that the said statement is ludicrous, infantile, and shamefully issued by those who do not wish the Party well in Isoko South Local Government Area. In fact, the Authors are not known to the Party as its Executive in Olomoro Ward 06 in Isoko South.

“The Party therefore urges its members to ignore those dissidents whose stock in trade is, “engaging in political war without end”. Their antics and modus operandi have always been, “what they cannot get, they destroy”.

“Delta APC shall continue to rise above those political angels of darkness. Meanwhile, considering the gravity of the activities of those who authored the said statement, the Party herein direct the Isoko South Local Government Working Committee, led by Comrade Vincent Egbogbo to put machineries in motion in line with the Party’s Constitution and try those who authored the ignoble statement and their sponsors if any, for their culpability or otherwise.

“The Party wants to sounds a note of warning to those who are not ready to give peace a chance to have a rethink of their insidious actions. Otherwise, all available legal and constitutional instrumentalities of our great Party shall be invoked against them. As the Party match towards 2023, indiscipline shall no longer be condoned by its leadership”, the release added.
