The Executive Chairman of the Delta State Post Primary Education Board (PPEB), Prof. Emmanuel U. Tibi, has extended warm felicitations to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the people of Delta State on the celebration of the state’s 34th anniversary.
Speaking with journalists in his office in Asaba, Prof. Tibi described the milestone as both a moment of joy and an opportunity to reflect on the transformational strides of successive administrations, from the early military regimes to the democratically elected governments, particularly the present Oborevwori-led administration under the M.O.R.E Agenda.
Prof. Tibi, a respected administrator and former Provost of the then College of Education, Agbor (now University of Delta, UNIDEL), noted that Delta has continued to witness remarkable socio-economic progress anchored on inclusive and progressive governance.
While acknowledging the contributions of past military administrators and civilian governors, he commended Governor Oborevwori for consolidating and expanding on their legacies.
He described the governor as a visionary and focused leader, deeply committed to advancing the state beyond its current achievements.
According to him, Delta’s education sector has recorded innovative growth under Governor Oborevwori, reflecting the administration’s people-centered approach to governance.
He expressed optimism that the gains in the education system would be sustained, assuring that the PPEB remains fully aligned with the governor’s M.O.R.E Agenda.
Prof. Tibi reaffirmed his commitment to steering the board toward delivering on its mandate, particularly in advancing educational development across the state.
