DELTA 2023: UPU Endorses Gbagi, Seal Endorsement With Prayers
The sociocultural Urhobo apex decision making body, Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), has endorsed the gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, ahead of the 2023 governorship election in Delta State.
The endorsement of the leading governorship candidate by the Urhobo nation, is coming on the heels of his doggedness and sagacity in the political terrain since he entered the race over two years ago.
The Urhobo Sociocultural body, without bias, choose Olorogun Gbagi, to liberate the state from its current sorry state to a state where there would be economic boom, infrastructural development, gainful employment, security and youth emancipation.
The UPU, has come to realize that only the largest private entrepreneur, has what it takes and the foundational knowledge to give the State purposeful leadership geared towards bringing the dividends of democracy with the political will to industrialize the state.
Sealing the endorsement with intercession, Venerable Orobevwe, prayed that God would release a corresponding anointing that would catapult Gbagi, to the governorship seat.
Among other dignitaries present during the prayers were the President General of UPU, Olorogun Moses Taiga and Chief Kenneth Iwuiwui, the Financial Secretory of UPU.
