DELTA 2023: SDP To Receive Over 10, 000 PDP, APC Defectors In Delta South Mega Rally
An exodus defectoon of members of the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC), in Delta State, to the Social Democratic Party (SDP), would be a talk of the state at the weekend.
The Mega Rally where the decampees would be received, has the governorship candidate of the party and former minister of State for education, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, as the Special Guest of Honour.
While the State Chairman of the party, Ambassador Oke Idawene JP, is the Chief Host.
The invitation made available to The Story, on Wednesday August 3rd 2022, disclosed that the Mega Rally, is billed to hold on Saturday 6th August 2022.
It further revealed that the Oleh Civic Center, Off IDC Road Before Isoko south local government area Office in Oleh, would be the venue for the Mega Rally.
The Social Democratic Party, the oldest political party in Nigeria, which represents a social movement, is the only party that has conducted the freest election in the country with MKO Abiola, coasting to victory but was denied.
It was also the same platform Olorogun Felix Ibru emerged governor in Delta State.
With Olorogun Gbagi, joining the party, it has given the party a wider reach and acceptability by Deltans who are now ready to change the narrative by massively casting their votes for Gbagi, the SDP guber candidate for the sole purpose of redirecting the affairs and future of the State aimed at industrialization and youth emancipation for our children and children yet unborn.
