The choice of Chief Mrs. Oshilim Ishioma Rosemary as running mate to the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, has sparked jubilation among party members and followers across the state particularly in Delta North Senatorial District.
As if it was long awaited for, as soon as Chief Rosemary was announced by the former minister of State for education, Olorogun Gbagi, the political colossus, the social media went abuzz with positive reactions from supporters.
Solomon Udubre Vincent, wrote: “Gbagi has chosen right by picking a female as his running mate. This is the beginning of victory. We move”.
Also, another follower, Iwemah Uvie, in his post said: “Leader per excellent. Congratulations to the Deputy Governor of Delta state”.
Similarly, a Facebook user with the name Orutu MercyKacy Mercy Kacy, wrote thus: “Wow! Congratulations to our Deputy Governor. 2023 we move to SDP”.
Eric Obofukoro, who also took to his social media handle, hinted: “Your choice of a Lady as your running partner is most welcome. Now the women have the rare timely opportunity to showcase their voting strength. Women oye! Congratulations”.
A name sake to the Deputy Governor, “Isioma” Codith, said: “Excellent… Congratulations to the Deputy Governor of Delta state. I strongly believe in you”.
Justin Ubachukwu Ezecheta, noted, “It’s a balance ticket, shows inclusiveness. Kudos!!.
