As the search for the successor of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, of Delta State takes new dimension, Deltans have been assured that the only person that could be trusted with our common patrimony is Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 2023 election.

The assurance was given by Prof. Augustus Atubi, a team leader, pulling over 170 professors for the Gbagi gubernatorial ambition in Oleh, the administrative headquarter of Isoko south local government area of the state, where thousands of defectors from the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) where received into SDP recently.

The former Dean, Student Affairs, Delta State University (DELSU) Abraka, disclosed that after a thorough search by the professors, they came to a conclusion that the former minister of State for education, stand shoulder tall amongst other governorship candidates with impeccable character.

He further noted that haven done it in his private businesses, Gbagi, would be able to manage both human and capital resources thereby turning the State to an economic boom for the teeming youths.

“We have searched for someone who can manage our resources for us and we found out that among all the governorship candidates, no one has the capacity, integrity and character to manage our patrimony except Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi

“The only person that can manage our resources and get our youths off the street within the next one year that he will take over governance is Gbagi”.

“Before you see professors queuing behind Kenneth Gbagi, it is because we want this state to be more habitable for us, especially the youths”.

He lamented the present educational system where parents are unable to pay school fees for their children, saying many have dropped out of school due to the hike in tuition fees.

“In our universities, a lot of parents could not afford to pay school fees, so the children are stranded, they couldn’t go forward and a lot of them have dropped out from school.

“We are all out to say no to this situation, we cannot continue because Delta State is a wealthy State”, Prof. Atubi added.

With litigations rocking the certificates submitted by Governorship candidates and their Deputies, to illegal conduct of primaries by political parties in the race, it is now clear, that the Social Democratic Party and its candidates, particularly the governorship, Olorogun Gbagi, remains the only one standing free from scandal, forgery, theft, corruption and the likes.
