Ahead of the 2023 general elections in Delta State, five Senior Legislative Aides of the Deputy Senate President cum All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Ovie Omo-Agege, have resigned their appointments.
Their resignation letters dated Friday June 10th 2022, cited personal reasons, while appreciating him for the opportunities given to them to serve their fatherland.
One Gladys Agba Ovie, said: “I wish to formally tender my resignation as Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy Senate President. My resignation is due to personal reason”.
Also, Prince Peter Etareri Okorodudu, while citing personal reasons for his resignation, thanked the Delta Central Senator for the privilege accorded him to serve.
In same vein, Godwin Obire, a former legislative aide, lamented that he could not affect his community positively while he served the APC governorship candidate.
Hear him: “my decision to resign my appointment is based on personal and political exigencies, most especially for the reasons that I have not been able to positively affect my community (Orhokpokpo Agbarho) despite being a legislative aide to the Deputy Senate President for the past years”.
Obire who thanked DSP for the opportunity said: “the experience I have gained will certainly be of immense benefit in my future political endeavors”.
Similarly, Eruvwetere Inedi and Emmanuel Okorodudu, who equally resigned on personal reasons, appreciated the Deputy Senate
