A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, has disqualified the candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), in Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, from contesting the 2023 governorship election.
The Court presided over by Justice Taiwo O. Taiwo ruled that Oborevwori isn’t qualified to contest on ground of certificate issues.
PDP has been asked to conduct a new primaries before the final date of change of candidates as the electoral act does not permit the runner up to automatically become the candidate.
