The Councilor representing DSIEC Ward 7, Maduemezie Patrick, has joined efforts with the Chairman, Aniocha south local government area of Delta State, Jude Chukwunwike, to fix failed portion of roads across the council.

A Facebook post by Patrick, said he took up the responsibility to fix the roads as a way of ameliorating the suffering of road users and other commuters.

The Councilor started with the failed portion of Ogbe-Igbo junction and Isele-Uku junction all in Ubulu-Uku.

According to the post, “In a bid to support the effort of the working Executive Chairman of Aniocha-south Local government council, Hon. pastor Jude Chukwunwike, I took it upon myself as the councilor representing Dsiec ward 7 to fix some failed portions on our major roads in Ubulu-Uku.

“First is the bad spot by Ogbe-Igbo junction and the other is the Isele-Uku junction all in Ubulu-Uku. I thank God that with the effort of my supporters the work was a huge success”.

The Councilor later visited Abuedo Primary School where he inspected the efficiency of the school Mower, which he discovered would not be able to clear the entrance of the school due to its peculiar nature.

“Also I visited Abuedo primary school to see how the mower provided by the Executive Chairman is been utilized then I found out that the mower won’t clear the front of the school due to the rough nature of  the ground.

“So I decided to engage someone who will do that for the school regularly and added him on my payroll for the duration of my tenure”, he disclosed.
