Oshimili south Council Chairman, Mr. Kelvin Ezenyili Obi, said his administration has done well in terms of development.
He disclosed that he has focused on youth empowerment, environmental sanitation, peace and security of the local government.
He made the disclosure on Friday February 17th 2023, during a press briefing at the newly built executive complex hall, Asaba, the state capital.
According to him, he has also impacted in the primary healthcare and providing infrastructural facilities for the development of social and economical development of the local government area.
He said since he assumed office, the council has inaugurated Economic Team, which has help in getting engagement with agencies and partnership with companies that enhanced development across Oshimili South.
Obi revealed that he built a Modern Legislative Complex, renovated and refunished the executive complex with sophisticated modern equipment and appliances.
The chairman also added that his administration has installed security cameras and has purchased 500 stand generator to provide uninterrupted power supply for the Oshimili South secretariat.
Obi said that his Council is collaborating with security operatives in the state to ensure the safety of life and property.
He assured that he putting modalities in place to help in the development of Oshimili South Local Government for better living standard for indigenes and none indigenes alike.
