The Director General of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Patrick Ukah, has commended the pace and quality of work on the newly awarded House of Assembly Service Commission Road project in Oshimili South Local Government Area.
The 1.7-meter-long road is currently under construction, with Ukah expressing satisfaction during an inspection visit alongside the agency’s Head of Projects/Monitoring and Evaluation, Engineer Bawo Atsiangbe.
Ukah praised the contractors for their use of quality materials and their commitment to timely delivery. He emphasized the importance of the project in improving infrastructure within the capital territory.
During the inspection conducted on March 17, 2025, Ukah also visited several other road projects, including Odilison E.C. Junior Crescent, Ngozi Odiaka Avenue, and Odilison Close in Okpanam.
Additionally, he reviewed progress on the DDPA Core, the reconstruction of Marine Road in Oshimili South LGA, Arena Estate (approximately 1.1 km), and Jeremiah Eboh Street, a 400-meter road.
These projects, recently approved by Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, are part of the administration’s MORE Agenda, aimed at accelerating infrastructural development and enhancing the quality of life within the capital territory.
