A renowned legal luminary of repute, Prof. Epiphany Azinge, has been picked as the 14th Asagba of Asaba kingdom, following the passage of Obi (Prof), Chike Edozien.
It was gathered that the five Ebo’s of Asaba kingdom backed up by Iyagba Quarters, selected Obi Professor Epiphany Azinge as the next Asagba Ahaba designate.
Epiphany Azinge, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), who was born 13th November 1957, is a Nigerian lawyer and academic.
He was the 5th Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies from 2009 and 2014.
He is a Judge at the Commonwealth Arbitral Tribunal sitting in London, where he represents Nigeria and Africa.
He is the founder and senior partner at Azinge & Azinge, a law firm in Abuja where his wife Valerie Azinge, also a SAN, is also a partner.
It would be recall that the Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty Obi (Prof) Chike Endozien joined his ancestors and was officially announced on Tuesday February 13th 2024, at the palace ground in Asaba, Delta State capital.
