The ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), in Delta State has won all the chairmanship seats in 24 local government areas (LGAs) of the state.
While in Udu local government area, the PDP candidate, Vincent Oyibode, was unopposed for the election as there was no other political parties candidate.
Also, a candidate of Allied Peoples Movement won a councilorship seat in Oshimili north local government area of the State.
This was disclosed on Sunday 14th July 2024, by the Chairman of the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC), Dr. Jerry Agbaike, at the Commission’s headquarters in Asaba, the State capital.
