The ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Ika south chapter has suspended a onetime Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barr. Chiedu Ebie for his alleged involvement in Anti-party activities during the just concluded general elections in Delta State.
The suspension letter dated 24th March 2023, revealed that “having considered the Anti-party activities played before and during the recent past presidential/National Assembly cum governorship/State House of Assembly elections, the party has deemed it fit to suspend the following persons”.
Others suspended along with the former SSG are Mrs. Eze Patience, LGA ex-officio, Mr. James Okoro, Ward Secretary, Mrs. Aghulor Philomena, Ward Women Leader, Mr. Isaac Ukpani, Ward Legal Adviser.
Also suspended are Mr. Frank Emueze, Ward Publicity, Hon. Victor Njoetene, Councilor, Mr. Eluma Mac Donald, SA to Okowa, Mr. Stable Ehikwe, SA to Okowa and Mr. Igumbor Valentine, Waterways to the governor.
The letter which was copied to the Council Chairman, Hon. Sunny Tababuzogwu and Ika south Legislative Arm was signed by the Chairman and Secretary whose names were not mentioned.
