Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has approved the assignment of portfolios to newly sworn-in Special Advisers in the state.
A release on Friday July 28tj 2023, by Sir Festus Ahon, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor revealed that Chief Edwin Uzor, was retained in his former office, Peace Building and Conflict Resolution while Rt. Hon. Solomon Funkekeme, is the Senior Policy Adviser to the governor.
Rt. Hon. Basil Ganagana, would be the eyes and ears of the governor on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) while Chief Tony Amechi, is Investment, Chief (Mrs) Eunice Anirah, SA on Women Development.
Chief (Mrs) Shimite Bello, is equally retained in her previous office she held under Ifeanyi Okowa as SA on Trade and Export, Mr. Griftson Omatsuli, is the SA on Niger Delta Affairs, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, SA on Transport and Chief Anthony Ofoni, SA on Community Development.
