Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has appointed the Spiritual Leader of Okpe Kingdom, Archbishop Godday Iboyi as member of the state’s Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board.
Archbishop Iboyi, is the founder of Promise Kingdom Ministries, (aka) Overflow, with headquarters in Sapele, the administrative headquarters of Sapele local government area of the State.

For Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Kingsley Emu, said the date and time for their inauguration would be announced later.
According to the statement, “it is hereby announced for the information of the general public particularly Deltans that His Excellency Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State has approved the appointments of the following into the Boards of the State Christian and Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards”
The statement equally disclosed the reappointment of Apostle Sylvanus Okorote ,as the Chairman of the board.
Apostle Okorote, was appointed by the immediate past administration of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, as Chairman and Special Adviser on Religious Matters.
Rev. Father Christopher Ekabo, is to serve as Secretary of the board while Arcbishop Godday Iboyi, Rev. Dr. Justin Okoroji, Rev. Monday Madukwe, Ven. Robert O. Oziwele and Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Patricia Buzugbe are to serve as members respectively.
