Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, will on Monday, October 6, 2025, formally declare open the 6th Edition of the Delta State Communication Workshop (DELCOM 2025) at Hotel Benizia, Asaba.
This year’s workshop, themed “Strategic Communication in the Digital Age: Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Digital Tools for Effective Leadership”, promises to be a groundbreaking forum for policymakers, communication experts, academics, and digital innovators.
Organised in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM), DELCOM 2025 is expected to explore how digital communication strategies, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies can drive effective governance and leadership in Nigeria and beyond.
Governor Oborevwori, who will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, is expected to underscore the state government’s commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and inclusive governance during the opening ceremony.
The three-day event, scheduled from October 6th to 8th, 2025, will feature high-level panel discussions, expert presentations, and interactive sessions tailored to equip participants with modern communication tools for effective leadership in the 21st century.
With Delta State at the forefront of adopting digital governance models, DELCOM 2025 is set to reinforce the state’s leadership role in strategic communication across Nigeria.
