Some members of the Bayelsa State contingent were involved in a fatal car accident which left four people dead while several others are said to be wounded.
The contingent bus conveying members of the supporters team was traveling to Asaba, the Delta State capital for the Women FA Championship Final holding at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, when one of the buses crashed after Kwale, Ndokwa west local government area of the State.
It was gathered that four persons died on the spot while seven others sustained injury.
At press time, calls and text message sent to the Public Relations Officer (PRO) Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), one Victoria, was not replied.
