BREAKING NEWS: Finally, Oborevwori Makes First Batch Of Nine Appointments

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has appointed eight Special Advisers and a Director General, Mr. Frank Omare to be in charge of Special Duties.

A statement released on Tuesday July 2023, by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Kingsley Emu, said the date for their inauguration would be announced in due course.

According to the statement, the governor said: “it is hereby announced for the information of the general public, particularly Deltans, that the governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff F O Oborevwori, has approved the appointment of the following persons as Special Advisers”.

They are Chief Edwin Uzor, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, Rt. Hon. Basil Ganagana, Chief Tony Emechi, Mrs. Eunice Okiemute Anirah.

Others are Chief Mrs. Shemite Bello, Mrs. Griftson Omatsuli and Olorogun Jaro Egbo.

The governor equally appointed a former Commissioner, Chief Frank Omare as Director General in charge of Special Duties.

“In the same vein, His Excellency, has approved the appointment of Chief Frank Omare as Director General (Special Duties).
