The governorship candidate of Labour Party (LP) in Delta State, Kennedy Pela popularly known as Ken Pela, has withdrawn his petition at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal against the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and the governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, The Story can authoritatively report.
It was gathered that Pela’s intention was made known through his lawyers through an application to the tribunal sitting in Asaba, the State capital.
It was alleged that the Labour Party candidate was promised juicy contracts and some money.
A topnotch in the State who confirmed the agreement alleged that Pela has equally agreed to return PDP.
Contacted, his media aide, one Mccollins, said: “where did you hear that one from?
“I am not the right person to answer such a question, I don’t know what you are saying”.
Painstaking efforts to get reaction from Ken Pela, at press time, proved abortive.
