The Sheriff Oborevwori-led Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), has sacked Mr. Amechi Juan Governor, the Executive Chairman, Ndokwa east local government Council.
The House on Tuesday March 28th 2023, during plenary presided over by the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ochor Christopher Ochor, places the Governor on an iindefinite suspension over alleged financial misappropriation, disclosing sensitive government official documents, refusal to submit monthly income and expenditures amongst others.
The House set up an ad hoc committee to investigate the allegations as contained in a letter sent to the house by he Legislative Arm of the Council.
The committee members include; Hon. Anthony Elekeokwuri as Chairman, Hon. Evang. Princess Pat Ajudua as member, Hon. Engr. Kenneth Oboro Preyor, member, Him. Comrade Izeze Rume Yakubu Reuben, member and Mr. Aghoghophia Otto as Secretary.
