The Chairman, Delta State Civil Service Commission, Dame Patience Okwuofu, has signed.
It was gathered that her resignation was voluntary but her reason for the voluntary resignation was not stated.
Dame Okwuofu, was the Mother of Government (MOG) of the immediate past administration led by Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
In a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Kingsley Emu, the State governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, commended her for he meritorious service to the State.
According to the statement, the governor accept her voluntary resignation with immediate effect.
He thanked her for her contribution towards the growth of the civil service in the State which has brought about series of reforms that have positively transformed the State civil service.
Meanwhile, Oborevwori, has appointed another Special Adviser, Mr. Anthony Ofoni.
