In a prophetic message released on Friday, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, issued a stern warning to several Nigerian governors, including Delta State’s Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, highlighting the political challenges ahead.
Primate Ayodele’s prophecy, shared through his spokesperson Oluwatosin Osho, outlines the political and security crises that could threaten the stability of several state governments, including those in Niger, Abia, Imo, Adamawa, and Delta.

For Delta State, Primate Ayodele specifically addressed the leadership of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, warning that his association with the All Progressives Congress (APC) will continue to stir controversy within the state.
The prophet foretold internal divisions within the APC in Delta, exacerbated by Oborevwori’s membership, which is likely to alienate key political figures.
Primate Ayodele cautioned that the governor’s leadership may lack a coherent vision, leading to strained relations with both the APC and his predecessor.
This lack of unity could result in a further decline in party cohesion, with some members considering abandoning the APC altogether.
In addition to party issues, the prophet forecasted ongoing tensions with the presidency, which could undermine Oborevwori’s ability to effectively govern.
He also advised that political stakeholders in the state should remain vigilant against potential security threats, including bombing attacks.
