The Legislative Arm of Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, led by Hon. Leonard Nzemeke, has suspended five lawmakers otherwise known as councilors indefinitely without pay.
The lawmakers were alleged to have involved in gross misconduct and breach of oath of office
The Suspended lawmakers are Hon. Paul Brown Eze-Enweiwe, representing Ejeme ward 10, Hon Chuks Samuel Nwabunene, ward 19, Hon Uche Godwin Onwuemene, ward 06, Hon Frank Onochie, ward 1, and Hon. Fervency Ozulu Nwaka, Ubulu-Uku ward 5.
The councilors were all alleged to have involved in breach of office, gross Violation of house Rules, Anti- Party Activities and Invasion of the Hallow Chamber with thugs during plenary.
They were also accused of working against the interest of the leadership of Aniocha South Local government.
