Governorship candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the March 11th gubernatorial race Sheriff Oborevwori, has lost his Okpe local government area to the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi.
It would be recall that Oborevwori, who doubles as the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), equally lost his polling unit in the presidential election.
The presidential results released from Okpe shows APC having 4,772, LP, 10,754 and PDP, scoring 8,326 votes with a total of 115,828 registered voters and 26,090 accredited voters.
This is a sharp contrast of his claims that he is a local content politician who interacts and associates with his people.
It also contradict further his assertion that he is accessible, reachable, approachable, informal and friendly.
