His Royal Majesty, the Asagba of Asaba, Obi (Prof.) Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge, has called on the Delta State Government to prioritize road infrastructure and educational facilities in the newly named Ugboma Layout.
During a recent visit to Aningene, Akwuogede, and Ogbodume in Ugbomanta Asagba, the revered monarch appealed to the government, through the Director General of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency (DSCTDA), Patrick Ukah.
Represented by the agencyās Manager of Administration and Finance, Mr. Vincent Okhowfaheke, the DG was urged to facilitate more road interventions in the area.
The Asagba commended Patrick Ukah for his dedication and commitment to the development of the Capital Territory.
He acknowledged his ongoing efforts to improve the region. He further requested that the DSCTDA convey the community’s pressing needs, better roads, as well as primary and secondary schools, to the State Government for swift action.
Additionally, the monarch charged Chief Ogbueshi Jude Mordi with the responsibility of providing land for the proposed schools, assuring the community that construction would commence in the near future.
A key highlight of the occasion was the official renaming of the Akwuogede, Aningene, and Ogbodume areas as Ugboma Layout, marking a significant milestone in the communityās development.
