The Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House), Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, has congratulated Chief Solomon Arenyeka on his election as State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State, describing his emergence as a strong affirmation of confidence in his leadership capacity and political experience.
In a congratulatory message made available to the press, Dr. Osuoza described the consensus that produced Chief Arenyeka as “a resounding vote of confidence in his unwavering commitment to the growth, unity and strategic advancement of our great party.”
According to him, “This overwhelming consensus reflects not only your proven leadership capacity and political maturity, but also the trust and confidence party faithful repose in your ability to reposition the APC for greater success in Delta State.”
Dr. Osuoza also extended his congratulations to Elder Moses Iduh, who was elected Deputy Chairman, and Chief Efe Uko, who emerged as State Secretary, noting that their emergence alongside other party leaders signals a renewed spirit of cohesion and shared vision within the party.
“Your collective emergence underscores the spirit of unity and strategic alignment within the APC,” he stated.
“It is a clear demonstration that the party is prepared to move forward with purpose and discipline.”
The Commissioner further commended other newly elected executives across the three senatorial districts, including Chief Paulinus Akpeki (Delta Central Chairman), Chief Emmanuel Amgbaduba (Delta South Chairman), Engr. Daniel Ossai (Delta North Chairman), Elder Emmanuel Egbabor (State Organising Secretary), Barr.
Valentine Onojeghuo (State Publicity Secretary), Mrs. Ifeyinwa Sobotie (State Woman Leader), and Christopher Agali (State Youth Leader), as well as all other duly elected officials.
Dr. Osuoza emphasised that the consensus-driven process that produced the new leadership reflects political maturity and strategic foresight.
“This development highlights the party’s internal harmony and readiness to consolidate its structures ahead of the decisive political contests of 2027,” he said.
“Such unity will be indispensable as we deepen grassroots mobilisation and strengthen our engagement with the people.”
He noted that the immediate task before the new executive is clear: to consolidate party structures, foster internal cohesion, and articulate a compelling, people-focused agenda capable of securing overwhelming victories in the 2027 general elections.

He expressed confidence that the new leadership will steer the party to greater heights, urging them to ensure that their tenure is marked by unity, progress and electoral success.
