A chieftain of the major opposition, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Matthew Omonade, Esq., said 21 years of the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), in Delta State, could only account for wasteful years of taxpayers monies.

He bare his mind through his post on his Facebook page.
He alleged that “all they have to show is infrastructure decay, poor road network,  unemployment, epileptic schools, absence of  industries, skewed political system and harsh business environment. We are in a state of hopelessness. There is virtually nothing to be proud of”.
Omonade, who claimed he has been to all the states in the South-south and South-east region of the country, lamented that Delta remains one of the most underdeveloped state.
Hear him: “I have been to virtually all the States in the South-South and South-East region, I beg to say, that after  Bayelsa State, Delta State is the next most underdeveloped State”.
Hear him: “I have been to virtually all the States in the South-South and South-East region, I beg to say, that after  Bayelsa State, Delta State is the next most underdeveloped State”.
He expressed concern over the silence of Deltans who are supposed to hold the state government accountable, instead pretends not to see the huge infrastructural deficit in the state.
“What worries me the most, is the fact that nobody is saying anything about it. We are all pretending that all is well.
“The pseudo critics and preachers of the altruistic distribution of the dividends of democracy have been mum for years. Hypocrites everywhere”.
The APC stalwart, tongue lashed PDP o we what he termed as “self recycling” of old hands who remain from one government to the other.
“You dare not express your displeasure over bad governance, otherwise you would be attacked and insulted by those who are  at the receiving end of bad governance.
“Our youths are unperturbed. They are comfortable and prepared to get old as Media Aides. I’m frustrated. Tempted to give up”, he wept.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner for Works, Chief James Augoye, has assured Deltans that the Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa-led administration would complete all projects it started.
