The President General (PG), of Omosuomo federated communities in Ughelli South local government area of Delta State, High Chief Henry Abizor has congratulated the traditional ruler of Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty (HRM), Clement Oghenerukevwe Ikolo, Urhukpe 1, on his recognition by the state government a year ago.
A statement Chief Abizor who doubles as the Secretary, Ewu traditional council made available on Saturday November 16, 2024, seized the medium to felicitate the king, noting that since he was crowned traditionally on July 11, 2021, and the presentation of the staff of office by the state government in 2023, his kingship had heralded a new era of peace, understanding, and civility among the people.
“He believes that the king’s oversees wealth of knowledge has influenced his leadership style and reassured the people of his ability to lead with wisdom and grace,” the statement read in part.
The grassroot politician extolled the monarch’s courage and unwavering commitment to preserving his domain’s rich cultural heritage and tradition.
He said the King’s relentless efforts and exploration of international networks to unite his kingdom, reflect his love for his people.
According to him, the rich cultural heritage of the kingdom, is a source of pride and connection for all who share the Ewu Kingdom’s rich history.
“On behalf of my family and the people of Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom, I offer my heartfelt prayers for the continued well-being of the king of Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom, his family, and the entire kingdom.
“May the Kingdom continue to prosper under the wise and benevolent leadership of Urhukpe 1 and may he and his family be blessed with good health and happiness,” the statement added.
