Ahead of the governorship election scheduled for March 11, leading governorship candidate on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), His Excellency, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON, said the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), has no governorship candidate.

Although, PDP has Sheriff Oborevwori, the Criminologist insisted that PDP don’t have a governorship flagbearer, saying that he is yet to see him as one worth mentioning his name in the political equation of the State.

The security expert who said he visited Sheriff in prison as former Chairman, Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, made the remarks in Ozoro, the administrative headquarter of Isoko north local government area of the State.

He maintained that he does not know the PDP governorship candidate in State.

In same vein, speaking during a meeting of Isoko North Pastors on Thursday, January 19th, 2023, also at Ozoro, Gbagi challenged the supposedly PDP candidate to address Deltans or come out publicly and speak about his manifesto.

He noted that the State was too sophisticated for someone who cannot address Deltans in simple English to be a governor.

The SDP flag bearer told Isoko people that the State is faced with serious problem but would be surmountable if Deltans realizes the enormity of the challenges.

“Have you ever heard the governorship candidate of PDP addressing Deltans during campaigns? Do we have PDP governorship candidate?

“We need human beings, people with character, people with name and people we can trace”, he added.
