Some persons who specializes in vandalizing transformer cables made futile attempt to vandalize the transformers and its cables in Orie-Irri community, Isoko south local government area of Delta State.The suspects made the attempt in the early hours of Tuesday but failed.
They were trying to vandalize the link that supplies power to Okpe isoko and Utue Irri communities.
Chairman of the vigilant group led by Mr. Godday Diamond claimed he witnessed the vandalism of the high tenion transformers cables, with his excos and some from the community.Sir Stephen Ighomena Irebia appreciated the vigilante group for prompt response just as he advised them to be strong and be patient.
He said, please there is reward for whosoever that is doing good. Better things are coming ahead. Thanks for a job well done.Chairman of the Vigilante group, Mr. Godday Diamond, appreciated Irebia for the encouragement.
