Following the viral video showing two teachers from Ibru College, Agbara-Otor, Ughelli north local government area of Delta State, engaging in a physical fight, authorities at the State Ministry of Secondary Education have officially referred the case to the Post Primary Education Board for further disciplinary action.
The teachers were summoned for questioning yesterday, Thursday March 6, 2025, where they were required to explain their actions before being handed over to the appropriate disciplinary body.
Officials emphasized that the incident is being taken seriously, as it goes against the expected conduct of educators.
The Post Primary Education Board is expected to conduct a full review of the case and determine the necessary sanctions to uphold discipline and professionalism within the school system.
Authorities have assured the public that measures will be put in place to prevent a recurrence of such misconduct in schools across the state.
