A female student of Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro, identified as Miss Adegor Rukevwe Sophia, has been purportedly beheaded in Palm Hotel, Ozoro, the administrative headquarter of Isoko north local government area of the state.
A facebook user, Akpomedawaro Ike, disclosed that Sophia who was allegedly beheaded in a hotel room, is said to be a popular socialite in the student community.
According to the post, Ike said: “Lord have mercy A young lady was allegedly murdered in an Ozoro hotel and her head cut off.
“Said to be a socialite of the student community, she was identified simply as Late Miss Adegor Rukevwe Sophia.
“May her soul Rest In Peace. Ozoro mourns”
Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe, said: “She was not beheaded pls”.
Efforts to get reaction from the institution were unsuccessful at press time.
