Train plying the Itakpe-Warri railway station has killed a woman and her daughter in Udu local government area of Delta State.
Trouble started on Thursday August 12th 2021, when the late woman and her daughter who were crossing the railway station got hit by the passenger-train st about 3:40pm at Aragba in Orhuwhorun town
Although details of the incident were sketchy at the time of filing this report, sources claimed the incident led to a state of pandemonium in the area.
This is coming 21 days after a train on the Itakpe-Warri rail line crushed a middle-aged man, Clement Emetoma at the Orie-Abraka axis in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was gathered that the deceased from Abraka Ward 3, was in the company of a deaf and dumb man who sustained injuries on his leg.
It was further gathered that they were both on their way to the farm on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, when the accident occurred.
