Trouble started on Monday 2nd November 2020, when the Ibusa bus driver who just finished loading his bus before leaving the park, scratched the car belonging to the suspected yahoo boy.
It was learnt that the driver who is not an Indigene of Ibusa but resides in the Community, highlighted from his bus and pleaded with Boyi, for pardon.
Irked for scratching his car, the suspected yahoo boy pounced on the driver, beating him mercilessly before sympathizers and Good Samaritans waded in.
It was gathered that the matter was amicably resolved and both parties went their separate ways.
Unsatisfied with the way the issue was settled, it was learnt that the suspected yahoo boy, Boyi, trailed the bus driver to Ibusa, his last bus stop.
On discovering that the suspected yahoo boy was on his trail, the bus driver close to the Ibusa market along the road, knelt down on the road to plead for further forgiveness.
Miffed by the pleading from the bus driver for scratching his car, the suspected yahoo boy from Ibusa, quickly entered his car and rammed over the driver crushing him to death on the spot.
It was learnt that the family of the deceased on receiving the news of their son’s death, took the lifeless body to the family compound of the yahoo boy.
Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, who confirmed the ugly situation, disclosed that the suspected yahoo boy has been arrested.
