THE STORY BREAKING NEWS: Suspected Fulani herdsmen Whisk Groom, Bride, One Other In Delta

Bandits believed to be fulani herdsmen have kidnapped a would-be couple whose marriage ceremony was scheduled for Saturday 13th February 2021, along the railway in Emuhu, Agbor, Ika south local government area of Delta State.

It was learnt that the abductors are demanding the sum of N15 million to release their victims whose names are still unknown.

Although, details of the their kidnap is still sketchy, residents of the community blamed the Nigeria Police and the military that despite their presence, bandits are still on rampage in the community.

“Fulani Herdsmen kidnapped LOVERS who’s marriage was slated to hold last Saturday, February 13, 2021, alongside one other at Railway Emuhu Agbor; demanding 15m for their release”, a source said.

The source while making mockery of security agencies, said: “Thank you the battalion of soldiers, police and host of security agencies in Ika land”.

Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said: “They were going for a wedding. And they are two in number”.
