Following the killing of an indigene of Otulu, one Mr. Cletus Okpala-Ozumba, allegedly murdered by a security aide of the traditional ruler of Ogwashi-Uku His Royal Majesty HRM Obi Ifechukwude Okonjo, over 5, 000 Otulu indigenes comprising women, men, girls and boys, have Invade government House gate, demanding justice for their slain brother.
The youths came in four Macapolo buses, about 10 mini buses and private vehicles displayed placards of various inscriptions, “Your Excellency Sir, we need equal rights”, “Ifechukwude Okonjo of Ogwashi-Uku killed our son”, among others.
Otulu Community equally carried a big banner with the inscription: “Attention! Attention!! Attention!!! “Your Excellency sir, the executive governor of Delta State. Please, save Otulu Community from the oppression of Ogwashi-Uku Community and the other communities surrounding us, we don’t need community crisis, we are peace loving people”.
