Trouble started on Saturday 20th February 2021, when the suspected assassins fired at the Special Assistant to the State governor on Youth Development, Comrade Okiemute Sowho, at close range along the Crudas axis by Akintola Lane, Sapele.
The deceased popularly addressed as Daddy K, was shot dead by bandits who rode in a white Venza Car at close range before they speed off.
When contacted, the Assistant Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, said: “Confirmed, serious investigation is ongoing pls”.
