Angry mob have killed an unidentified man for his alleged involvement in armed robbery at Ejemudaro street, Okumagba Avenue, Warri, Delta State.
A source who spoke on condition of anonymity on Saturday August 14th 2021, disclosed that the young man was residing in the area before he relocated.
According to our source, “the boy normally stay in the area before he packed out of the place but he returned to steal around 12:00am this night.
“He was caught, so the people who caught him immediately set him ablaze around Sinima roundabout Junction”.
The lifeless body of the victim was left on the road till this morning before policemen from ‘B’ Division, came to evacuate his body.
Contacted, the Ag. Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, said he has not gotten details of what led to the mob action.
The image maker disclosed “there was a mob action in that area. For now that is the only information I have. I have not gotten what led to it, the victim’s identity and everything”, he added.
