The Nigerian Police Force, Taraba State Command, has confirmed the death of Bassy Sardauna, a secondary school teacher killed by students in Jalingo.
Confirming the incident on Thursday, the command’s spokesperson, Abdullahi Usman, said the deceased was a staff of Model Secondary School, Jalingo.
According to him, the primary suspect, whom he described as an ex-student of the school, conspired with his friends in the school and stabbed the teacher, who was confirmed dead at the Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Jalingo, where he was taken for treatment.
Usman affirmed that the command has commenced an investigation into the case which occured on Wednesday.
