One person has been reportedly shot dead by armed robbers in Ibada-Amukpe, Sapele local government area of Delta State.
Trouble started in the early hours of Saturday February 26th 2022, at about 2:00am as criminals attacked the residence one Azar Chairman Ighonokwaye, also known as Hong Kong (HK), along Ibada-Amukpe, where one Moses, was murdered.
It was also gathered that the said Hong Kong, was shot on the leg.
It was also learnt that Hong Kong, attacked one of the robbers with cutlass injury on the hand.
It was gathered that the Vigilante Commander, identified as Randy Don, visited the robbery scene for on the spot accessment of the situation.
Ighonokwaye, is currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
They appealed to the public particularly patent medicine shops to report anyone with cut on the hands to them or the nearest police station.
At press time, text message and calls put across to the cellphone of the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, were not replied nor answered.
