The Delta State Police Command said it has arrested a suspected fake army officer along the Sapele/Benin Road axis of the state.
Information gathered revealed that the 44 year old, Fabian Ojumah was nabbed with a Toyota Tundra Truck painted in the army colors.
It was also gathered that the suspect paraded himself to be a Major in the army when quizzed by the Delta Operation Safer-highways.
After series of questions, the suspect was apprehended after the Police searched the vehicle.
It was reported that over 400 wraps of weed suspected to be Indian hemp were found in theToyota Tundra vehicle which was adjudged to have been stolen by the suspect.
When contacted, Police Public Relation Officer, ( PPRO), DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the incident saying, he is not a real army officer.
” He was caught with 420 wraps of Indian hemp, where he was taking them to is not specified” she stated.
