An impeccable source who do not want the name on print, said the leadership of the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), has postponed the event.
The postponement is coming on the heels of the#ENDSARS Protest which has gone viral across the country and the setting ablaze of the Koko Junction fruit shops constructed by the state government on Wednesday night.
It was learnt that a new date would be communicated to the House by the state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, in a later date.
Our source also disclosed that plenary has been adjourned to Tuesday next week.
The Story, had reported yesterday Wednesday 21st October 2020, that the budget presentation may not hold today Thursday 22nd October 2020, following a barricade on the entrance gate to the Assembly Complex by #ENDSARS protesters.
Although, it was alleged that the state government has an understanding with the protesters not to attack any government facilities, it could not be ascertained at press time what led to the attack.
