The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has apprehended a former Chieftain of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Femi Fani-Kayode, who cross carpeted to ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), recently
The former Minister of Aviation, who is fondly called FFK was nabbed on Tuesday November 23rd 2023.
EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed the development.
He confirmed that the former minister, who rejoined the All Progressives Congress in September, was brought to the Lagos Zonal Office of the anti-graft agency on Tuesday.
He said Fani-Kayode was arrested for forgery and manipulation of documents.
Uwujaren said: “Yes it’s true. It has to do with forgery.”
He, however, didn’t give further details on the matter.
