Chairman of SUBEB in the state, Hon. Sunny Ogwu, handed down the warning when he paid an unscheduled visit to one of the project sites in the state.
Hon. Ogwu, who was represented by the member representing Delta South in the Board, Mr. Paul Kurugbe, frowned at the practice of using recycled building materials by some contractors, saying that such unprofessional practice would not be accepted by the Board.
The Chairman who directed the contractor to remove all such recycled materials including ceiling boards, disclosed that the board would redouble its monitoring efforts in ensuring that contractors handling various projects for the Board comply with high standard and quality.
